Prepare a Heroku Home for Your Bot
Before you begin, you need a Heroku account.
To sign up for a free account, go to Heroku.com and provide your name and email address. When prompted to pick a language, choose Ruby.
Once you’re logged in, Heroku redirects you to their first-time Ruby user docs.[8] The How Heroku Works section provides some information about how Heroku differs from traditional self-hosted web servers. Feel free to study this guide; it’s handy if you haven’t used web servers before.
