Record Messages with a Companion Alexa Skill
Armed with a working Alexa flash briefing, it’s time to add a complementary skill to your Lita bot. Where the first Alexa skill exposed a newsfeed for Alexa to recite, this one allows users to tell Alexa to add new messages to that newsfeed. By building this skill, you learn the rudiments of Alexa’s custom skills functionality; this will empower you to build any new Alexa skills you can dream up.
You’ll also learn about shared event triggers. With shared event triggers, you can call a Lita skill’s exposed functionality from another Lita skill.
