In-Room Power

Designing the in-room portion of your Data Center's electrical infrastructure includes deciding what components to use to deliver power to your servers and networking devices. Electrical infrastructure elements include the following:

  • Power distribution units

  • Circuit breaker panels

  • Electrical conduits

  • Wiring configurations

You must also choose how to route, terminate, and label the components.

Pre-wire cabinet locations in your Data Center with power receptacles. Managing a room with pre-installed infrastructure is much easier than running new electrical conduits every time a new server arrives.
