The radius of curvature that a cable can bend without suffering damage and reduced performance.
- British thermal units (BTUs)
The amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 pound of water by 1° Fahrenheit (.56° Celsius) at its maximum density. This occurs at 39.1° Fahrenheit (3.94° Celsius). Heat output of servers are rated in BTUs, as are the capabilities of most cooling equipment.

A dedicated area for system administrators and network engineers to unpack, set up, and preconfigure equipment that is ultimately bound for the Data Center. Also known as a fitup room, staging area, or burn-in room.

An electrical conductor that makes a common connection between multiple circuits.
