I often get asked to explain what exactly I do in my 90-minute chunks to build my business. It's nothing very complicated or difficult to explain – so here's a list.

Writing emails

Either single emails or auto-responder campaigns. These are usually written to a specific segment of my list rather than everyone on it. Sometimes they're news relevant, sharing valuable information or sales communications. I write a lot of emails – because they're the single biggest driver of sales into our business. Once you've worked out what your most effective marketing activity is, that should be the one at the top of your list.
