Even though most of us can enjoy programming and movies from the comfort of our own homes, we still enjoy going to the theater to see current run and sometimes somewhat dated movies. The lure of the overpriced candy, popcorn, and sodas is probably not the reason many still find the experience of a trip downtown to the theater enjoyable. The very big screen and the engineered Dolby sound systems probably have much more to do with why people enjoy the full theater experience. Most of us cannot afford the screen size of a movie theater, but we can opt for the largest screen our budgets will support when planning and designing for our own home theater experience.
