Introduction

This chapter reviews another element of our conscious leadership model, which is reflexivity. Reflexivity involves more than reflecting upon a prior experience; it involves analysing and interpreting with acute focus our experience of past events and the role that our beliefs, values, ideas, vocabulary, emotions and behaviours play in generating our social results. Reflexivity, as we understand it and employ it within our model of conscious leadership, is a fundamental self-development technique.
