This book is the result of a collaboration between the authors on a large number and variety of information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), systems engineering (SE), information system interoperability, and related issues. Because of their long and diverse backgrounds, the authors bring a unique perspective to current IT issues. Both authors started out, directly after graduating from undergraduate programs, in the U.S. Navy.
