This project was completed during the search for an answer to the following question: How could one design and implement a programmable logic controller (PLC)? The answer to this question was partially discovered about 15 years ago by the author in a freely available PLC project called PICBIT. The file, called picbit. inc of PICBIT, contains the basic PLC macro definitions.
