7. Clustering
When dealing with cloud computing, the number one thing to remember is that clouds are tools, which provide easy access to utilities no different from electricity or water. Alone, these utilities are useless; but backed by the proper plumbing and design, they can achieve anything.
So far, this book discussed several unique methods to develop pieces of your architecture. This chapter covers some of the major parts of clustering, the most important part to create any scalable system. The overall architecture of major applications as a whole, not just the individual modules, is discussed.
