Pharmacy industry applications and usage
Abstract
One of the applications of big data applications and infrastructure is in the pharmaceutical industry. The complexity of the queries that are executed in these applications and the results they generate, make us feel the statement of torture the data and it will confess to anything. The relationships between the data in the different subject areas, the clinical trials and results, the communities in social media, the research labs and their outcomes, the clinical labs and patient results, and the financial outcomes of the pharmaceutical enterprise. Wow, think of all kinds of insights, add to this the markets, the competition, and the global industry, and we have phenomenal data to work with.
