The UserDS DataSet

To gain access to the information stored in the User and UserType tables, we created a new strongly typed dataset class by first creating an XML schema file. The UserDS.xsd file was created by describing, in XML, the layout and makeup of the User and UserType database tables. Listing 18.5 shows this schema.
