So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Scalable and intelligent
Bigtable is designed to scale in a linear and predictable manner, with each additional node in the Bigtable cluster adding an additional ~10,000 queries per second and a related increase in IO bandwidth. Additionally, Bigtable intelligently performs regular optimizations based on data access patterns, increasing performance and reducing storage requirements.
