8.1 Re-designing the application
Figure 8-1 shows the original design of the Order Entry application.

We migrate the application to a Java client that provides a GUI. We modify the original RPG
code to allow it to be used from either the new Java client interface or from the original 5250
interface. Figure 8-2 shows the new design.
