The Web is a big place. A very big place. With lots of smart people doing lots of smart and clever things. Sometimes other people get to use their smart ideas. Sometimes your needs are so specific that you have to write your own services. Whatever your needs, you will likely reach a point where the “out-of-the-box” offerings from OpenSocial on MySpace are just not enough to satisfy your needs.
