A Journey of “Encountering Evil”

Dear Colleagues,

I heaved a sigh of relief as I reclined comfortably into my familiar SQ seat last Sunday. I was flying home from Boston, with a connecting flight through London, and was reflecting on the drama of the last five days. From 17th to 22nd April I had toured Montreal, Washington DC and Boston with colleagues from CAG and CapitaLand. The trip turned out to be a most unexpected and adventurous journey, and that is why I am prompted to write this first Sunday email to you. As my hobby, I have been writing Sunday emails to colleagues in my previous job (Pidemco Land and CapitaLand) for the last 15 years, since 1998. Little did I expect that my first Sunday email to CAG would be triggered by such an attention-grabbing and adverse event. This is what happened.
