Stages of Maturity
Once the decision has been made to establish the PMCoE as a business function, there is often a significant amount of pressure on the PMCoE to move quickly to show significant benefits that support the decision by upper management. The speed at which the PMCoE is able to move depends largely on the degree of executive support that is behind the effort and the level of commitment they give at the start in the form of dedicated resources (budget and staff).
