Ambassador Activities

While you may not like the term “ambassador” or even be comfortable with term “public relations,” all successful teams reach out and build effective relationships with their key stakeholders.

These external activities include such things as:

1.  Building support for the team and its work. This work usually involves positive interactions with both senior management and functional department managers. Senior management typically wants to know about the team's progress, successes, potential problems and resource needs. Functional department heads want to know how their people are doing and what, if any, additional resources will be required by the team.
