Chapter 14. Security Services Use Cases
This chapter covers two broad categories of network security: secure WANs and integrated threat control. The chapter covers the security-related services available in Cisco IOS such as Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN), EasyVPN, Group Encrypted Transport VPN (GETVPN), firewalls, NetFlow, and others. The focus will remain on how these solutions can be deployed on the Cisco ASR 1000, rather than on the individual technologies.
The format of this chapter will continue with what you saw in the last two chapters, outlining the problems, challenges they represent, and how you can use the ASR 1000 to address these problems and challenges, with detailed configuration examples where applicable.
