Developing ActiveSync Applications

Based on the functionality described thus far, several types of applications can be built based on ActiveSync services and used to synchronize device data with a desktop PC:

  • ActiveSync provider: As described in the ActiveSync provider section, the ActiveSync architecture is extensible and allows custom providers to be implemented.
