I first got to know Tom Kayser at Xerox. I had just completed the Executive Development MBA Program at the University of Rochester’s Simon School. As a developing executive within the Xerox Human Resources organization and with my new degree in hand, my senior management sponsors thought that it would be a good idea (and developmental for me) if I headed up the Organizational Development function for the Business Products and Systems Group.
