As provisioned and by default, a Snowflake account is configured for public Internet access. To properly secure our Snowflake account, we should define our security posture, understand where security controls are defined, select those appropriate for our purposes, match and set corresponding Snowflake configuration options, and above all, implement appropriate monitoring to ensure the options set remain until we make an informed change.
