Using SharePoint Controls and CSS

The most common control in SharePoint is the Web Part. Web Parts have styles applied to them that allow the Web Part title to render one way, the column headers or textual content another, and the toolbar content yet another. The run-time HTML for these controls can be very complex and difficult to decipher.

In this exercise, you will capture the run-time HTML for a ListView Web Part, and then use the SharePoint Designer tools to modify the style of the blog heading inside this ListView Web Part by employing some of the tricks you learned in the earlier exercises in this chapter.
