Creating a Master Page
As demonstrated in the previous exercise, you can have many master pages in a site. There can only be one default master page, and only one custom master page, but you can create any number of additional master pages. For the most part, you’ll be creating one master page and setting it as the default, as you will be doing in this chapter. However, there are times when you might want to brand one group of pages differently from another group of pages; in that case, you can create new master pages and then create pages from those master pages without setting the master pages as the default.
