Overview

The terms analytics, business analytics (BA), and business intelligence (BI) are used interchangeably in the literature and are related to each other. Analytics is a more general term and is about analyzing the data using data visualization, and statistical modeling to help companies make effective business decisions. The tools used in analytics, BA, and BI often overlap.
