So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery in Healthcare
Abstract
The overall healthcare IT landscape in the United States is a dynamic and rapidly changing one. In order to create an effective business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) plan for any healthcare entity, it’s important to understand the broader concepts. This chapter discusses how regulatory requirements and business needs drive BC/DR planning. It focuses on technology used in medium-to-large hospital and ambulatory (clinical) settings where integration of medical data with numerous up- and downstream systems creates a complex and highly interdependent set of BC/DR requirements.
