CHAPTER 11: VALIDATING YOUR PANDEMIC PLAN
As and when a media headline reports that a pandemic has been declared (and it will be ‘when’ rather than ‘if’), will your organisation be ready? It is simply not enough to have prepared a pandemic plan and assume that it is going to work – you should have validated it to ensure that it will work. The last thing you need is to discover that your plan is flawed when you activate it in response to a genuine pandemic emergency. This chapter looks at how you approach this vital activity.
