A Business Continuity Primer
In the previous chapter, business continuity (BC) is dened as the dis-
cipline of developing, deploying, and maintaining strategies and proce-
dures to ensure the continuance or recovery of critical business processes.
Business preparedness (BP) is a subset of BC, enabling an organization to
continue or recover services or products during and aer an event to sup-
port and service customers.
GOALS
