According to the pentagon flowchart, there are nine activities involved in renovating the college classroom. The chart shows beginning/ending of an activity with a dot and critical path with an arrow. The layout of the PERT chart uses arrows to show the necessary sequence among activities, from start to finish, for completing the project.

The activities involved in this process are:

  1. Get funding approval

  2. Remove chairs and tables

  3. Buy new floor tiles

  4. Move tables and chairs

  5. Remove old floor tiles

  6. Install new floor tiles

  7. Rework tables and chairs

  8. Return tables and chairs

  9. Reinstall tables and chairs
