It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Repurposing Publicly Available Data
This book has emphasized the value of collecting and repurposing data sets to facilitate querying, reporting, and analysis that can improve performance and corporate value. And while we have largely focused on extracting data from internal sources, it turns out that not only are there numerous external data sources that can be used, many of them are available with little or no cost. We can refer to these data sets as publicly available data, which comes in a variety of sizes, shapes, and forms. In addition, you can also use publicly available data sets that are packaged and sold by value-added information resellers.
