Microsoft Active Directory is a common LDAP directory within the industry. OBIEE integrates out of the box with Microsoft Active Directory, enabling it to be used for user authentication.
Getting ready
Before integrating any LDAP server into OBIEE, it is important to have an understanding of the information contained within LDAP. It is recommended that you get a tool which will allow you to interrogate the LDAP structure and view information.
