The opportunities for you to network have never been greater – both online and offline. In the olden days (about three years ago), you might network one morning a week. You might have the occasional social get-together as well but, broadly speaking, your networking was limited to when you were in the same room as a load of other people networking.
Now, however, networking is a constant activity. As well as face-to-face networking, your contacts, prospects, suppliers, referral partners, friends and competitors are networking online. Networking is now as much about an attitude as an activity. Networking involves you being there, among the crowd, creating your crowd, as much as you possibly can. These are really exciting times for businesses.
