It’s very easy to accept an invitation to an event when it’s weeks or months away, but as the time approaches you might begin to feel unsure about going.
Brian’s office 9:30 a.m. The day before the event. Brian finishes checking his post, switches on the computer and checks his diary.
B: What’s on today? Oh dear, it’s that Premier networking evening at the Grand Hotel tomorrow. I really don’t want to go. What reason can I find?
