Postscript

This book is based on Recipe for Business Strategy, published by Nihon Noritsu Kyoukai Management Center. We have edited it for better understanding and added a Manga portion in hopes of offering a more detailed flow and some tricks for creating a business strategy.

It's already been six years since the publication of the original book, and we've gained experience in the consulting field during that time. We believe the things written in Recipe for Business Strategy are still valid to this day. However, we also felt that there are places we can improve based on the experience from these past six years.

That was when we received an offer to write this book from the publisher. We thought a manga format was a great way to present things we couldn't include in the previous book, such as the feel of real strategy‐building situations and nuances. We also thought we could contribute new details and viewpoints from what we have experienced in the past six years. In a sense, this book is a sequel to the previous book, Recipe for Business Strategy.

This book uses the manga format to the fullest and offers the topic of strategy building, something that could be dry and hard to understand in a regular book format, as realistically as possible. This book is full of issues and common situations from our point of view as business strategy consultants assisting our clients in the strategy creation process.
