Task Analysis, Knowledge Workers and Business Rules

IN THIS CHAPTER we will focus on activities. Activities are the smallest processes we choose to model in any given analysis effort. Activity level analysis is the most detailed analysis we undertake. (Recall Figure 8.3 for an overview of different levels of process analysis.) We said earlier that the work of a business is ultimately done by the processes that make up the business. In a similar way, the actual work done by any process is ultimately done by the activities that make up the process.
