The three cases in this chapter all depicted a number of attributes of the ideal transformation. None of the subjects has transformed itself perfectly, but none of them are resting on their laurels, either. Each continues to manage its processes and to improve. By looking at all of them and adopting some of the lessons learned, you can realize similar benefits.
Chapter 5, “The Process Management Framework,” will describe the work that must be done to realize the improvements you seek. It will describe the phases and critical factors that must be managed to realize stakeholder-driven and process-based change across all aspects of the Process Management Hexagon.
