Defining Your Program to Roll Out a Support Group

Every program of change, including the startup or enhancement of a process support group, starts from the current situation. For your organization, you have to seriously consider how healthy your current relationships are. The style of implementation as described earlier in Table 9.1 might depend on earning credibility first. Consequently, you might choose to settle on your ultimate implementation gradually over time.

It might also be impossible to introduce all services initially. It might take time to become proficient, so think through what you want to accomplish over time. Table 9.6 shows a logical build sequence for a subset of services that would be delivered over two years’ time.
