As you complete the framework’s various phases, keep in mind a number of general “rules of thumb.”

Find an executive supporter or supporters for proposed transformation very early in the process. A supporter must be able to get to the top and build cross-organizational support for changing the things that senior management cares about. Management had better be fighting with you, not fighting against you!
