Summary

It is often said that an organization’s main resource is its people and it is certainly true that without people the organization will neither exist nor function.

As both a manager and as an employee you will need to deal with selecting and getting the best out of people. This chapter will introduce you to the many aspects of human resource management that you will need to know.
