Microsoft.AspNetCore.All is the metapackage for ASP.NET Core. The metapackage comprises packages supported and maintained by the ASP.NET Core team, supported packages by Entity Framework Core, as well as the internal and third-party dependencies used by both ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
The available default project templates that target ASP.NET Core 2.0 use the Microsoft.AspNetCore.All package. The version numbers of ASP.NET Core version and Entity Framework Core are similar to that of the Microsoft.AspNetCore.All metapackage.
