Example – call center with many consultants

The example shown in the preceding section has been intentionally simplified to make understanding a queue much simpler. However, it is high time you make it more related to real-world problems. In this section, you will see how to expand it to support many consultants, as shown in the following diagram:

What is important is that both callers and consultants will work at the same time. If there are more incoming calls than available consultants, a new call will be added to the queue and will wait until there is a consultant who can answer the call.
