It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Because the C++ programming language has been around for a number of years, there are ample resources for you to turn to for more information. In this appendix we’ll highlight just a few of those options. As with most things, a simple Internet search (using Google or whatever you prefer) will always return a ton of results.
