The world is filled with outrageous money-making theories, and the markets are no exception. However, if you have an idea of what works in the market, and you can properly test it and execute it to make consistent profits, your idea is worth incorporating in your strategy. I don’t care if you say, “When it rains on Wall Street on a Friday it’s time to short the DIA ETF” — if it works consistently, don’t discount it, no matter how ridiculous it may seem. If something works historically for you in real money situations, keep an open mind when you’re considering whether to keep doing it.
