Chapter 6. Edit with Photoshop Elements 9
Although Adobe has an iPhone app for editing your photos on the device (Photoshop Express), it's very limited in functionality. So if you're serious about your iPhone pictures and you want to make them look the best you can, check into getting Photoshop Elements (PSE) for editing your images on your computer.
This inexpensive software is Adobe's simpler version of its photo-editing powerhouse program: Photoshop. Photoshop Elements is available for both Mac and PC.
Although Photoshop Elements is fairly simple, it is still an incredibly powerful tool and enables you to do all types of editing, color correction, cropping and more.
This program has many different editing tools, and there are lots of different techniques you can learn. To help get you started, this chapter covers the most basic adjustments and edits. Find instructions for transferring image files from your iPhone to your computer in Chapter 8.
