WHY CARD GAMES?

I love card games.

It’s not that I collect master points by playing duplicate bridge or cash by playing poker. Instead, I collect the card games themselves from around the world and develop into a mediocre player in some of them. When I go to a new place (I have lived in three countries and trained in 25 others), I ask my new friends to teach me their favorite card game. I have found this to be an effective strategy for crossing cultural bridges.
