BODY LANGUAGE

You’ve already seen the way the face can express a multitude of different emotions and attitudes, but the rest of a character’s body can be just as expressive. To give your character a bold attitude, apply what you’ve learned about line of action, facial expression, and proportion to the entire body. When trying to convey a certain emotion or attitude in your characters, remember to exaggerate—you have the freedom to make your characters as zany as you want, so get creative and ham it up!
