Chapter 10. Design of Other Network Technologies and Services
This chapter covers multiple networking and IP service design concepts and considerations that are considered as noncore topics for the purpose of the CCDE practical exam at the time of this writing. Although these topics are not considered as core technologies for the CCDE exam, one or more of these technologies are expected to be part of each scenario. The different topics discussed in this chapter might be presented as an application or service to be used to achieve a business need. For example, a business-critical application might require multicast to be enabled across the network to work properly.
