Transparent Bridging and Frame Relay
You can use transparent bridging (TB) for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint subinterfaces on Frame Relay encapsulated serial and High Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) interfaces. The only restriction is that all PVCs that are configured on a subinterface must belong to the same bridge group.
Use the following command to enable transparent bridging on a point-to-point or a point-to-multipoint subinterface:
R2(config-subif)#bridge-group bridge-group
