Monitoring and Maintaining OSPF
When running OSPF, you can display specific statistics such as the contents of your IP routing tables, caches, and databases. You can use this information to determine resource utilization and to solve network problems. You can also display information about node reachability and can discover the routing path that your device packets are taking through your network.
Use the following commands to display various routing statistics.
To display general information about OSPF routing processes, use the following command:
R2#show ip ospf [process-id]
To display the internal OSPF routing table entries of the ABR and ASBR, use the following command:
R2#show ip ospf border-routers
