Preparing for the CCIE Security exam involves more than just identifying and reading through study materials. Successful attainment of the certification credential requires time, money, and personal commitment. Candidates often talk of the sacrifices made in terms of time away from family activities, balancing work and study, and the cost of travelling and scheduling written and lab exams.
